Apply now for SEED Show 2017

The fourth edition of the Skilled Expressive Entrepreneurial Designers (SEED) Show is upon us. For the past three editions, young vibrant and talented designers have got a chance to be mentored by one of Uganda’s most respected fashion designers-Ras Kasozi. As of 2016 the finalists have a chance to showcase at Kampala Fashion Week. That’s without any doubt a dream debut for any fashion designer. The partnership with Kampala Fashion Week gets even better. This year’s winner as was the case for 2016 gets to showcase his or her own collection at next year’s event! We are looking forward to Charles Semanda’s (last year’s winner) collection at this year’s edition. All that and more can be yours if you apply for the 2017. The program is designed to train up-and-coming fashion designers to acquire entrepreneurial skills and fashion experiences to both the local and international market place.

The SEED Show targets young designers running fashion and designing businesses with designing skills, entrepreneurship, and innovation. You should have the ability to do all aspects of an outfit: design from initial inspiration; garment creation production through to the final fashion show and introduction to the marketplace. This is a life changing opportunity. Do you have what it takes? Go to or email: . Deadline for submission of application is 28th July.

See poster for details. The SEED Show is in partnership with Ras Kasozi, Kampala Fashion Week and US Embassy Kampala.
