give Ugandans a better appreciation of fashion. It has since attracted the interest of the international fashion community. This year’s fashion week has been themed “Community” and will see the event embedded into community through the selection of this year’s venue, the Kampala Forest Resort that provides a scenic view of the beauty of Kampala city and immersion into nature. Previous editions have taken place at Kololo Independence Grounds, Accacia Mall, The Square for the first second and third editions respectively. There is no complete fashion week without a worthwhile after party and Uganda Waragi, the event’s partners for two years in a row have that covered. A wide selection of cocktails and deejays have been lined up in what as been dubbed the Taboo Lounge. Tickets cost Shs 30,000, Shs 50,000 and Shs 100,000 for the standing, second and first rows respectively.
